Refund policy for consultation and file verification
Confirm an appointment
When we send you an email to offer you a time slot, you have 2 working days (48 hours) to reply, telling us if the time slot suits you or if you would like another availability. You must respond as soon as possible and note that we do not guarantee availability before there has been confirmation.
Cancel an appointment request
You may cancel an appointment request and get a refund of your payment. Note that $35 will be retained (this amount corresponds to the transaction fees).
Cancel an appointment
You may cancel an appointment by notifying us 2 business days (48 hours) before the scheduled time of your appointment and get a refund of your payment. Note that $35 will be retained (this amount corresponds to the transaction fees). After this delay, we will issue a partial refund (50% of your payment).
Move an appointment
You may reschedule an appointment by notifying us 2 business days (48 hours) before the scheduled time of your appointment so we can offer you another time slot at no additional cost. After this delay, you will be charged $70.
Missing an appointment
If you do not show up for your appointment or if you are absent when we try to reach you by videoconference at the time scheduled for your appointment, you will be entitled to a partial refund (50% of your payment).
Being late for an appointment
You must be reachable at the time of your appointment. It is possible that you may have to wait for your turn and that your appointment is slightly delayed; this is normal. We do our best to respect the scheduled times, but sometimes a consultation is longer and goes beyond its time slot. However, if you arrive late or cannot be reached, we might ask you to reschedule your appointment and you will be charged $70.
